The OneTouch Properties window allows you to fully customize the scan process. Each button consists of a Destination, a Scan Configuration, and a File Format.

Destination: This is the list of applications that OneTouch can send an image to.  The Options tab lets you choose what type of applications show in this list.  Click on Properties... to add applications or set features. Scan Configuration: A configuration contains a variety of scanning options that can be adjusted, including the mode (Color, Grayscale, or Black & White), resolution in dots-per-inch (dpi), and paper size.  You can create new configurations, as well as edit, copy, and delete existing configurations, by clicking on the appropriate button beneath the configuration list. File Format: Select the format you want the scan to be saved as.  File format types are based on the chosen Destination.  A document will be converted to editable text when a text-editing destination is selected.
