NDIS Drivers for Microsoft Windows 2000
Standalone, Failover, and PortAggregation/FEC

  - To install or upgrade NDIS Windows 2000 drivers, use path d:\Win20000
    (where d:\ is the path of the CDROM drive)
    
  - To configure the Duralink64 software, go to Start-->Settings-->Control
    Panel, and double click Adaptec Duralink icon. For detail information on
    how to configure using the Duralink64 GUI, refer to the Users Guide.

  - For detail installation instructions, please refer 
    to the DuraLAN installation Manual.

  - For lastest Service Packs from Microsoft, go to www.microsoft.com;
    it is highly recommended that you update to the latest ServicePacks
    as per OS (Operating System) bug fixes from Microsoft. 

  - For latest Adaptec DuraLAN driver updates go to www.adaptec.com

  - This driver suppors LME/PAE (Large Memory Enable/ Physical Address
    Extension) to support memory above 4GB.

  - To find out which port is the Primary port as per Group. Open the 
    Duralink64 GUI then click Status. Select the appropriate Group, the
    Primarty port will have a [P] next to it, all network settings will be
    taken from this port. To configure the Primary port, look at the Port 
    Name and note down the LAC (Local Area Connection X, where
    X is a number). Open the Network and Dial-up Connections icon within
    Control Panel and configure the appropriate network settings for the
    LAC (Primary port which you have noted down).

  - Use the Adaptec Duralink64 GUI to check the status of any port as
    "Network and Dial-up Connections" window sometimes shows incorrect
    status.
