Overview

Congratulations on your purchase of  ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201. This ViewMate Desktop  Mouse CC2201 provides 3 convenient and programmable button functions. With these easy-to-use button functions, you can fully maximize use of your ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201.

Installation

Please follow the instructions below on how to install ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 software to your PC system.

  1. Please insert the CD included in your package,  into your CD-ROM drive.

  2. The system will automatically run the autorun.exe once after the CD is inserted. However, if the system fails to perform this procedure, simply double-click on the autorun.exe to continue the installation procedure.

  3. Follow all the on-screen instructions.

Once the software installation for ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 is completed, the icon is shown on the WindowsÒ taskbar. Then you can start to enjoy your ViewMate Desktop mouse CC2201.

Uninstallation

From the Windows Start Menu, locate uninstall under Programs\ViewMate Desktop CC2201, and click on  Uninstall ViewMate Desktop Program  to uninstall the driver.

Setting Menu 

Click on the ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 icon on the taskbar will pop up the setting menu.

1. Launch Mouse Properties Open the configuration dialog box and allow you to re-program the mouse button functions. (How to configure)
2.Device ID( For Wireless only) It will display device ID of wireless mouse.
3. Help This option is to launch the on-line help which will help you to use ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 well.
4. About This option is to show the information about the ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 driver.
5. Exit  This option is to close ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 driver and remove it from your computer memory. If you want to reload ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 driver, please use Windows Explorer and double click the file "c:\Program Files\ViewMate Desktop CC2201\MulMouse.exe" or restart your system to run it.

Configuration

ViewMate Desktop  Mouse CC2201 comes with a easy-to-use configuration  which is specially designed for  fully taking advantage of your ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201.  Your ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 can do either default mouse functions or programmable functions such as launch application, or access to preset functions, favorite website or shortcut button as you assign. ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 configuration tool is in the "Mouse Properties" named "ViewMate Desktop MS" from MS "Control Panel". 

How to configure ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201 functions :

In the configuration dialog box, there are 4 ways to create your own mouse button functions including : Predefine function, Shortcut,  Favorite Website and Default mouse function. 
Easily choose the way and the function you want to use.

1. Button Assignment :  
There are 3 radio boxes including : 
1) Select a Mouse
2) Select a button
3) Function Assignment

You can select any one of the radio boxes to assign its functions. 
 There are 42 functionalities as the following you can define for specific button:

Note : 
Due to system operation limitation, at least one mouse button must be assigned as "Left button" before you make function changes. 

2. Battery Status(For Wireless only): The battery icon will show the current battery status inside your ViewMate Desktop Mouse CC2201. When the battery icon is empty, please change the battery.

3. Load Default Setting : This option sets the mouse functions as Left button, Middle button and Right button. 

ViewMate Desktop 

The below User Interface will pup-up when you assign the button function as "ViewMate Desktop".

The 10 functions are provided for ViewMate Desktop:

1) Fixed functions  5 fixed functions for Internet browser, such as WWW, Mail, My Computer, Calc and Play/Pause.
2) Programmable functions  5 programmable functions for you to define. Right-click the button of  ViewMate Desktop User  Interface to bring following setting dialog box. 

 

1) Internet Function 

A drop-down menu for you to select the functions either Favorites or Search.

2) My Web Site  You can type in your favorite website and launch it with the default Internet browser. 
3) ShortCut  By clicking the browse button, you can select either a document file or an execution file to be launched by the shortcut button.
